Biography
Dr. Ruifang Yang is a highly trained Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist with a strong academic and clinical background. She graduated with honors from North China University of Science and Technology College of Medicine in 2001. She earned an M.S. in Physiology in 2004 and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology with honors in 2008, both from the Second Military Medical University in Shanghai, China.
Dr. Yang pursued postdoctoral training in Cellular and Integrative Physiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 2008 to 2010. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency in 2019 at HCA Healthcare/Sunrise Health in Las Vegas, Nevada, followed by a Cardiovascular Fellowship at USF Morsani College of Medicine/HCA Healthcare Florida Brandon Hospital in 2022. She further specialized with a Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic Florida, completed in 2024.
Dr. Yang is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine, as well as by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. She is also an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, where she contributes to advancing medical education and patient care.
