Looking for a highly motivated Pharmacist Leader to effectively supervise and coordinate the overall management of activities for Pharmacy Technicians.
Responsibilities will include scheduling, training, coaching & counseling, and performance evaluations, thus ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow is maintained within the Central Pharmacy and the various satellite locations within the hospital.
This position will also be responsible for developing and implementing standard work and policies to ensure continuity of services provided by Pharmacy Technicians. You will ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and standards regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services and regional pharmacy objectives, policies, and procedures.
In addition, you will assist the Pharmacy Manager with the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, operational and clinical projects, and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your assigned area.
Minimum Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Completion of a Pharmacy Clinical Practice Residency or equivalent training program in clinical pharmacy is preferred.

Experience:
|
Applicants with previous hospital pharmacy experience will be given preference. Previous management experience preferred.

Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Pharmacist license upon hire

Certification(s):

Healthcare BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within the first 90 days of
Employment is required.

Computer / Typing:

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Type 25 WPM.
