This class is for babies of ANY age! Breastfeeding Circle Gatherings are a great place for breastfeeding moms to find support, exchange experiences, and discuss any concerns. Space is limited for this event, and registration is required. This workshop is focused on understanding and completing a Nevada Durable Power of Attorney of Healthcare, also known as an Advance Directive. What to expect:  A brief presentation about the document, its contents and purpose.  Time for questions.  Staff will be on hand to assist with document completion.  A notary will be present for notarization.  Participants may have their document uploaded into their Renown electronic medical record and/or submitted to the Nevada Living Will Lockbox on their behalf. Please come prepared with names, addresses, and phone numbers of those you want to appoint in the document and a photo ID if notarization is desired. All required paperwork will be provided by our staff. Renown Institute for Cancer offers one-hour weekly classes to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and their families. These insightful classes are facilitated by oncology nurse navigators, social workers, and surgical nurses. In this class, you will: • Meet your navigator and learn about cancer support services available to you • Hear about pre-surgery instructions and your pre-admit appointment • Receive education in rehabilitation and lymphedema • Have your questions answered about treatment, including chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy and clinical trials Note: 18y+ only. This class is not suitable for minors. Childcare is not provided. Video-enabled attendance is available. Patients can access remotely and join from any video-enabled device (smartphone, iPad, laptop or webcam/desktop). Upon registering, you will receive instructions on how to connect virtually.

This support group provides support, education, networking, and resource materials to caregivers coping with a loved one diagnosed with cancer. In effort to provide the most supportive atmosphere for those caring for loved one dealing with cancer, this group is for current cancer caregivers only. Join us for our free virtual Smoking Cessation 4-week program courtesy of Renown Health. This class is available to all who want to learn the risks of smoking and the benefits of quitting. In addition, participants will learn about their triggers to smoking, ways to cope while quitting, and available products to assist with becoming tobacco-free. This program begins on the 1st Wednesday of each month and will meet every Wednesday for four weeks from 4 to 5 p.m. Instructions on virtually connecting will be sent 1 day before the first class.

This group is for all patients facing cancer. The meeting enables participants to share experiences and express feelings and concerns. All cancer patients, family members, survivors, and caregivers are welcome to attend. Meets weekly on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in person and virtually.
