Ticket includes partner. In this class you will learn about breastfeeding your baby using recommendations from health organizations across the globe. We recommend that all first-time parents take this in-depth class to help mothers get off to a better start with breastfeeding. Topics include the benefits of breastfeeding, breast anatomy, feeding cues, establishing a good latch, nursing positions, ways for partners to support and be involved in breastfeeding, breast pumping and breast milk storage, breastfeeding tips and available breastfeeding supplies and resources. It also touches on how to know if your baby is getting enough milk and when and where to get help if needed. We’ll guide you through everything you need to know about pregnancy, childbirth, and caring for your newborn. In this 4-week class, you’ll learn how to prepare your body and mind for labor and delivery. Once a week, we’ll talk about what to expect during childbirth, ways to stay calm and in control, and tips for making the experience as smooth as possible. You’ll also learn how to care for your newborn, including feeding, diapering, and soothing your baby. But that’s not all—we’ll also dive into the basics of parenting. From understanding your baby’s needs to building a strong bond with them, this class will help you feel more confident and ready to take on your new role as a mom. No matter where you are, you can join us from the comfort of your home. With videos, activities, and real-time support, this class is here to help you every step of the way. Parents-to-be will learn how to care for their newborn, including bathing, diapering, cord care, signs of illness, nutrition, feeding, infant safety, understanding newborn behavior along with growth and development. Managing Fear and Anxiety During Cancer Treatment Join our compassionate cancer support group, where you’ll find understanding, strength, and clarity as you navigate your journey. Together, we tackle fears about treatment and prognosis, offering guidance to help you manage overwhelming emotions. Be part of a supportive community that truly understands, and gain tools to help both you and your family through these challenging times. You don’t have to face cancer alone—let’s support each other every step of the way. As one survivor said, “It’s about discovering who you are and what brings you joy.” During the workshop you can expect to learn about the Mind-Body connection (the relationship between your thoughts and physical well-being) and how to use it to: – Uncover your questions and concerns – Improve overall energy, mood and well-being – Learn how to tolerate treatment better – Contribute to a reduction in risk of recurrence Every Monday from 10am-11am Virtual attendance is available. This class is for babies of ANY age! Breastfeeding Circle Gatherings are a great place for breastfeeding moms to find support, exchange experiences, and discuss any concerns. Popular topics include: Milk supply Pumping Returning to work Sleeping, or lack of sleep Weight checks Weighted feedings And more! Renown Institute for Heart & Vascular Health proudly offers the free Cardiovascular Support Group. Please join us if you or anyone you know has been diagnosed with cardiovascular issues. Meet and get to know the Cardiovascular Quality Team from the Renown Institute for Heart & Vascular Health on the second Tuesday of every month from 2-3 p.m. This group is open to all cardiovascular patients and their families. Learn about managing and living with cardiovascular issues in a supportive group environment. Virtual attendees will receive instructions on how to join the meeting the day before the event. Complimentary refreshments and informative materials will be provided!

Renown Institute for Cancer offers one-hour weekly classes to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and their families. These insightful classes are facilitated by oncology nurse navigators, social workers, and surgical nurses. In this class, you will: • Meet your navigator and learn about cancer support services available to you • Hear about pre-surgery instructions and your pre-admit appointment • Receive education in rehabilitation and lymphedema • Have your questions answered about treatment, including chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy and clinical trials Note: 18y+ only. This class is not suitable for minors. Childcare is not provided. Video-enabled attendance is available. Patients can access remotely and join from any video-enabled device (smartphone, iPad, laptop or webcam/desktop). Upon registering, you will receive instructions on how to connect virtually.

Please join us for Renown Health’s free one-hour class for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) education! Our goal is to give you the knowledge to better manage your COPD by increasing your understanding of the disease process, medications and how to use them and creating an action plan you can use every day. This program is offered every: Second Tuesday of the month from 4pm – 5pm in Renown Health Pulmonary Rehabilitation classroom The last Thursday of the month from 4pm – 5pm in the Renown Rehabilitation Hospital classroom A link to the virtual meeting will be sent 1 day before the class via email.

Led by Renown’s Bariatric Program Manager, this group connects you with peers and leaders so you can support, coach, encourage and lean on one another when you need it most. Attending this support group meeting can be invaluable if you are facing post-surgery challenges or thinking about weight loss surgery and want to learn more about the client’s perspective or help reluctant family and friends better understand the process. This support group is an excellent resource for finding people who share your health and wellness goals. We are devoted to people with everyday experiences, sharing their feelings in a safe environment, and developing relationships that can contribute to improved physical and emotional health. We’ve found that our most successful clients attend support groups regularly. This support group provides support, education, networking, and resource materials to caregivers coping with a loved one diagnosed with cancer. In effort to provide the most supportive atmosphere for those caring for loved one dealing with cancer, this group is for current cancer caregivers only.
